Things To Check
Have a read down the following list, there useful things to think about before buying.

Finance
Have you thought about how you will finance the deposit and the balance of the purchase of your new home? Will part of the money be coming from the sale of your current home?

The seller
Moving in date, what date do you want to move in? Have you spoken and agreed to the seller?

Have you arranged to keep any thing to be left by the seller? E.g., Appliances, fixtures, fittings, furniture etc.

The house
Are the boundries of the land clearly defined?

Does it have main services, such as water, gas, electcirity and drainage.

What heating system does the house have, and how is its hot water heated?

House access and parking – Does the house join directly to a made up road? If not how do you get access to the made up road. Is there ample parking space, either road side or driveway/garage.

Surrounding environment
What area is the house in, eg residential, industrial, agricurtural, urban or rural.

Is there any thing about the neighbourhood that worries you, or you have doubts about?

Is there any thing nearbuy that could cause poloution to the enviroment, e.g. to the air or ground, heavy industrial factories etc?

Are there ample public servies in the area? E.g. Schools, Emegerency Services. Public transport, e.g. train or bus.
