Conveyancing - The Cost


A solicitor will charge a basic fee for the conveyancing work for your property. As for the cost, you should look to pay any where between £250 and £750, try to fix the fee before work begins, and make sure it’s in a written quotation and not an estimate. Also remember VAT will be added to the quotation. If you buy and sell from the same solicitor, they will often combine the cost; look to pay around £500 and £1500.
